The 3rd Biennial Partnership for Clean Indoor Air Forum will see over 100 household energy and health leaders coming together to commit themselves in reducing air pollution. It is a well-known fact that improper cooking and heating practices are the key factors for air pollution and the conference would thrust on promoting innovative and successful efforts across the globe for this challenge.
- Raise visibility of the issue and promote innovative, successful efforts across the globe.
- Strengthen partner’s capacity to implement highly effective household energy programs and mobilize resources
- Identify objectives and opportunities for collaboration
- Develop & Partnership for clean indoor air declaration
- Generate commitments and actions to achieve the Eight Forum priorities (listed below)
- Raise awareness of indoor air pollution and available solutions.
- Improve technologies, fuels and practices for reducing IAP exposure.
- Develop commercial markets for clean and efficient technology and fuels.
- Monitor and evaluate interventions.
- Influence energy and health policy.
- Replicate relevant health sector approaches.
- Understand greenhouse gas emissions and carbon credits.
- Support humanitarian assistance programs.
