International Conference on Information Technology (INTL-INFOTECH-2007) is being organized to discuss, deliberate, promote and disseminate research activities in the field of information technology and networks. The event at the department of Computer Science & Informatics, Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, would see several activities such as presenting of researched papers, exhibitions, essay competitions etc.
The dignitaries such as Prof D Duttamajumdar, Emeritus Professor, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, Dr S He, University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, Prof Admed Ehsan, Shahjatal University of Science and Technology, Prof. Farhan Saif, USA and others have been invited to share their thoughts at the conference.
Few of the topics that would be deliberated upon at the conference are “Information Theory and coding”, “Information Security”, “Next Generation Internet Technology”, “Mobile Computing & Communication”, Quantum Computing” and “Physics, Philosophy and IT”.
The event is being sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, WORLD BANK (TEQIP), Computer Society of India, Kolkata and ICTP, Italy.
