From Gulmarg, the nearest airport is at Srinagar which is only 57 kms. There are regular flights that connect Srinagar with the other key cities. The nearest railway station to Gulmarg is Jammu.

Best time to visit Gulmarg

One can visit Gulmarg all through the year. The apt time for skiing are the winter months - from November to February. The summer months from May to September as well offer pleasing weather to the tourists.
