Kaziranga

Unicorn - long back in the winter of 1904, Lady Curzon could resist the temptation of spotting the mythical creature in Kaziranga. Are you sure you can ? She could not spot any since the population of one-horn rhinos dwindled so dangerously. Urged by her, her husband Lord Curzon took initiatives for conservation and the sanctuary came in shape in the dense jungles of Assam.


Today spotting a one-horn rhino is not an issue in Kaziranga National Park. Amid the muddy swaps and the thickets of long elephant there is much more in Kaziranga - a baffling variety of flora and fauna. If you have a penchant for the wild, what are you waiting for !
