TRAVEL TO SASANGIR

A travel to Sasangir would take you to the hilly terrain of Saurashtra district in Gujarat.

Gurgling brooks crisscross through the lush green cover of deciduous vegetation, adding a dash of rare beauty to the rugged rocky land. The sprawling jungle is home to a variety of exotic birds and animals.

By the middle of the 20th century, Asiatic Lions were killed at a very fast pace forcing the conservationist to think. Just in order to save the depleting population of lions, the lion conservatory was established here in 1965 Apart from the lions, the king of the jungles, you may also see myriad other birds and animals in your travel to Sasangir.

Animals are most likely to be spotted during the early morning and the afternoon when they come out of their dens to drink water.
